Old Man United Reached The Final PDF Print E-mail
Written by Len Bai

Very well done, guys, we are in the final! This has already gone beyond my expection. What else can I say except thanks for everyone's hard work and consistent effort.

It's still the teamwork which put us through to the final of the SUCFA CUP. We are united from the very early stage of our first match in this season to the last minute of the penalty shoot out in today's semi-final.

Undoubtedly the success was firmly underpinned by our best defendence out of the eight teams. The evidence is that we were only scored ONE goal through the eight games so far. The defendence of OMU now can be proudly announced most strong and reliable. And we are confident to face and handle any challenge in the final.

Teamwork Made Success in 'Man Cup' PDF Print E-mail
Written by Len Bai

'Man Cup' is a one-day football league organised by Manchester CSSA. There were 7 teams from cities around like Sheffield, Liverpool, York etc, competing with each other in group games. With no semi-final and final matches, the team with the highest score out of group gaming will be the champion.

Our Sheffield team was made up by 11 players. Even some guys didn't know others well before. But just through a couple of minutes warm-up exercise, we got to know each other better, sometimes not by oral communication, but the football itself.

The strategy and attitude were the key factors to approach good results. Regarding ourselves as a bottom team, we carefully respect every rival and put lot of effort and attention on the defendence. Based on this, we tried to control the rhythm and catch every chance to score. Our attitude was quite relaxed, with the belief of enjoying football rather than fighting for winner.

Back To Sheffield and Start A New Life PDF Print E-mail
Written by Len Bai

There have been two weeks since we came back to Sheffield. Compared with Beijing and Shanghai, Sheffield is such a small town with less skyscrapers and fewer people in streets. I do love this place, quiet but vibrant.

Up to today, I've sorted out loads of photos taken in China and selected some to upload to my Online Gallery. These photos memorise all lovely days we had in China.

The Chinese New Year Is Coming Soon PDF Print E-mail
Written by Len Bai
Tuesday, 13 February 2007

The coming Chinese new year is 'Pig Year', which is supposed to mean a year full of delights and with no worries. We've been staying in Beijing for two weeks. Everyday seemed busy to us.

Our wedding took place on the 3rd of Feb. It's more like a family party, with some imporant guests invited by my brother. Actually the whole wedding was organised by my brother. He was the man behind the scene. Although there were no many people involved, the wedding was going very successfully and we all enjoyed every minute of it. It was a significant wedding to us, simple but meaningful, and also economical. Here I would like to sincerely thank my brother for his love and great effort.
