Ice Sheffield, run by Sheffield International Venues Ltd, is the premier site for ice activities in the region. Located only 3 miles away from city centre, this state of art venue has hosted a wide range of prestigious events including British Ice Dance Championships etc. and welcomed vast public for their interests and aspirations for fun on ice. This was my second time to be there. The first time of my visit was in 2005, invited by Heather, a really nice English girl, who is a part time ice skate coach for kids. Bob and I both went there with Heather and her other friends. Actually, I had never tried ice skating before. So inevitaly I fell down a couple of times, but gradually, I made myself more balanced and even speedy. Bob was better than me. And Heather did give us astonishing surprise by her beautiful dancing on ice. This time I was with Melissa and two very good mates. Melissa learned fast and could smoothly skate in the end. We had very good fun by learning each other and watching others' amazing techniques and challenging games as well. Add as favourites (24) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 4521
