Abstract: In this paper, the secure strategy of a
communication system is introduced. The proposed encryption
scheme forms a hybrid cryptosystem, composed of symmetric
key algorithms and asymmetric key algorithms. In symmetric
key algorithms, a time-delay chaotic system is considered
as a keystream generator and used to encrypt data. The chaos
model under consideration is derived from Lorenz system added
with time delayed feedbacks. It can generate complex chaotic
attractors and complicated time series very suitable to secure
communication. Asymmetric key algorithms are employed to manage
keys distribution and generate digital signature. Such designed
combination between symmetric key algorithms and asymmetric
key algorithms can obtain data authentication, integrity and
high confidentiality without loss of effectiveness. Java and
database techniques are utilized to implement kinds of encryption
algorithms and access control.

Abstract: In this paper, the effects of linear time
delayed feedbacks derived from different coordinate axes of
Lorenz equation are investigated respectively. It has been
found that the time delay as a control parameter affects the
dynamics of the system under consideration and the delayed
system may exhibit exceedingly complex dynamic behaviors,
including periodic, quasi-periodic, chaotic motions. Some
new chaotic attractors are shown, for instance, a 3-scroll
attractor similar to Chen's attractor and another very strange
attractor like "wormhole" etc. All of our study
results have indicated that time delay as a very effective
tool can be used to control and anticontrol of chaos.

Abstract: An effective approach for synchronizing
time-delay chaotic systems is introduced. The realization
of synchronization relies on a functional relation that exists
in two coupled chaotic systems. This approach based on Lyapunov
stability theory is analyzed theoretically and the synchronization
condition of coupling parameters is discussed. Two simulation
examples applied to the Mackey-Glass system and the time-delay
Lorenz system are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of
the synchronization approach.
