A couple of days ago, I saw a news on www.bbc.co.uk which said that an indian athlete failed the gender test in the 15th Aisan Games. The silver medal that 'she' won therefore was cancelled. I was not sure what was the Gender Test when I was reading the news. It should have been easily understood from the literal meaning, but I just didn't believe it. I did a quick search on google but found no direct answers. Yesterday, a news on www.wenxuecity.com gave me a staightforward answer. In a word, Gender Test means a test to determine a person's gender. That indian athlete participated in a women's game, but was found out that he was actually a man. So he lost the silver medal that he unfairly got from other female competitors. It sounds weird, doen's it? Add as favourites (11) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 4438
